UWE Bristol, Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences, is seeking for a Field External Examiner to support modules in MSc Rehabilitation to start in October 2022. The post will be for 4 years and includes the need to attend various examination boards.

The subject cluster requires a Field External Examiner to represent a range of academic perspectives within the MSc Rehabilitation programme, together with some Independent Study modules (mixture of Level 3 and M). Examples of modules are as follows; however, you may be required to look at modules outside of this subject area:

  • Health Economics
  • Knowledge Mobilisation
  • Contemporary Leadership in Rehabilitation
  • Managing Fatigue in Long Term Health Conditions
  • Evidencing Work Based Learning
  • Long Term Conditions
  • Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation
  • Neurorehabilitation
  • Independent Study

We particularly encourage applications from members of Black and Minority Ethnic communities, as this group is currently underrepresented among external examiners.

You will be required to attend examination boards during the year and complete an annual report. The External examiners operational guide can be accessed by using this link: http://www2.uwe.ac.uk/services/Marketing/about-us/cas/EE-ID-Ex-Exam-Operational-Guide.pdf
