Staffordshire University School of Health and Social Care is seeking to appoint an External Examiner to ensure appropriate quality standards are achieved within the Bachelors of Osteopathy and Masters of Osteopathy programmes. The Bost and Most are General Osteopathic Council-validated courses, delivered through our partner organisation, the College of Osteopaths on a part time basis, with cohorts delivered in Stoke on Trent and London.
The above appointments will be for a period of 3 years.
Criteria for the appointment of external examiners can be found paragraphs 6.8 to 6.12 of the University’s External Examiner Policy and Procedure. Whilst previous external examining experience would be an advantage, the University supports suitably qualified individuals wishing to secure their first post as an external examiner. First-time examiners will be allocated a mentor at the time of appointment.
