The University of Northampton is looking for an External Examiner for BA Health with Social Care.
This course is run by our partner University of Northampton London. It is running out with the last cohort finishing in 2026-2027. The degree comprises of 12 modules over three years and External Examiner role will be focusing on the second- and third-year modules. Modules include Lifespan Development, and Safeguarding modules in the second year and an Undergraduate Project in the third year.
This programme equips students with appropriate knowledge and skills to pursue a career in Health and Social Care. It enables students to develop a critical awareness of the potential factors that can influence the health and wellbeing of individuals, their communities and populations nationally and globally. Students will examine and reflect upon the contribution of multidisciplinary and inter-professional team working,
We are looking for someone:
- who is suitably qualified with expertise in the above areas, ideally a Programme Leader or Senior Lecturer on similar programmes.
- previous experience as an external examiner is essential /strongly preferred.
The appointment will be for the two academic years 2025 to 2027, from (1 October 2025 or immediate start if appointing after 1 October 2025) and ending 30 September 2027.
