Vacancy: External Examiner – MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (Standard Programme & Apprenticeship)
Pay: £500 payable annually per programme plus £150 per End Point Assessment Cohort
The fee includes all duties set out in the External Examiner role descriptor and will be payable annually following receipt of a completed report using a template provided.
Location: Remote / Chester, Cheshire
We are seeking a new External Examiner for the part-time, 3-year, post-registration MSc Advanced Clinical Practice standard & apprenticeship programmes, who will be responsible for contributing to the quality assurance of the programme.
The role will involve being an external examiner across a range of level 7 postgraduate modules. You will be involved in the approval of assessment tasks, moderation of student work, completion of an annual report and will be invited to attend a minimum of one Module Assessment Board per year. You may be asked to provide comments on proposed modifications and the development of new modules/new programme. Applicants should hold an appropriate NMC/HCPC/GMC/GPHC Professional Registration and academic qualifications.
It is preferable to have previous experience of external examining although support and guidance can be provided for those new to this role.
