The University of Salford in Greater Manchester is looking for an External Examiner to cover the programme below from September 2024.
MSc Advanced Clinical Practice
This is an integrated apprenticeship programme, which requires oversight of the quality of End Point Assessment delivery. In addition to the annual EE report, an additional EPA report is required to be completed for each cycle of EPA that takes place. As the EE, you must also conduct a visit for each cycle of EPA that takes place (the visit can be remote via MS Teams). You will be reimbursed for the extra time spent on End Point Assessment oversight.
A suitable candidate will have experience in teaching and examining at a UK HE institution, have a good understanding of quality assurance issues at HE level, including the QAA Quality Code and have specific subject knowledge in the programme being considered.
Previous experience as an External Examiner is preferred but not essential. The appointment will be for four academic years.
