The School of Nursing in the Faculty of Health and Care at the University of Central Lancashire is seeking to appoint a replacement external examiner for the FdSc Nursing Associate programme. The successful applicant must be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and have relevant experience teaching on a pre-registration programme. An induction is provided that the appointee will be expected to attend, and ideally, the external examiner will have had experience of external examining. If you are new to external examining, support will be provided.
The External Examiner will be expected to attend a minimum of one Board of Examiners meeting per year. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic staff. All appointments are subject to the candidate meeting the University’s criteria for appointment.
