The Institute of Health and Social Care is the largest school at London South Bank University with a longstanding reputation for excellence in the education, research, and practice development of a variety of health and social care professionals.
The Division of Occupational Therapy is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for its BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy programme. The programme has two well-established routes – a three year full-time course and a four year part-time course – and started an Apprenticeship in September 2022.
The University operates a two-tier examination board system, with External Examiners being initially appointed to a Subject Area Board where they oversee and report on academic modules at Levels 5 and 6. The Subject Area Board for this programme meets remotely twice a year in February and June.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified academic staff who are registered occupational therapists and hold a minimum of a Masters qualification. Appointments are subject to the candidate meeting the University’s criteria for appointment.
