External Examiner for: BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography and BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography (Degree Apprenticeship)
Description: The University of Huddersfield is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for our new BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography and BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography (Degree Apprenticeship) courses which will commence in September 2025. This provision will be accredited by the College of Radiographers.
External Examiners will be required to contribute to the assessment process, moderate and report on student work, visit practice placements, attend Course Assessment Boards, submit an annual report and sign off the Course Leader’s response to the report.
Appointees will have relevant higher education experience, academic qualifications to Masters (and ideally doctoral) level, be currently registered with HCPC as a Diagnostic Radiographer and be a member of the Society of Radiographers. An induction programme is provided for External Examiners.
The post is due to commence in September 2025. All appointments are for a period of four years.
