£43,434 – £54,943 per annum

The University of Suffolk and East Suffolk and North East Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) are seeking a joint appointment of an ambitious and dynamic midwifery leader as a Consultant Midwife/ Associate Professor. The post holder will complete a PhD in the three-years evaluating Better Births in maternity services. They will study in the University’s Institute of Health and Well-being and work clinically in ESNEFT.
The post holder will lead the development and implementation of quality initiatives and health programmes to reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes for mothers and babies and will share this knowledge locally, regionally, and nationally. They will also provide clinical leadership, advice and support to all colleagues providing midwifery care in primary and secondary care settings.
