We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative and solution focussed paramedic academic or specialist as an assistant professor (senior lecturer) to join our very successful paramedic team

You should be passionate about paramedic education and demonstrate a commitment to the provision of high-quality research informed teaching that makes a difference to the provision of quality care and services. You will work collaboratively with staff in the Paramedic Science team and staff across School of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery. You will also work with our partners at the Yorkshire Ambulance Service and with our service user group and our students to provide an engaging student experience.

You will contribute to programme delivery, which will include the innovative 4 year BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science programme and you will be involved in delivering and developing programme modules, curricula development and innovative teaching, learning and assessment, across under-graduate and post-graduate provision and also support recruitment to the programme. You will demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to be innovative and creative while making use of development opportunities to improve yourself and the School. The School of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery have developed a strong portfolio of education provision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for Paramedic Science , Physiotherapy, Diagnostic Radiography, Occupational Therapy and Midwifery with staff contributing to teaching across Nursing and Health care leadership and the Physician Associate programmes.

We will also provide you with the opportunity to work towards a Fellowship of Advance HE through developing your teaching practice and experience portfolio and we will support you through our new career development framework.
