The School of Health Sciences, University of Dundee is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for our healthcare Pre Registration Nursing Programme (Child) programme. The successful applicant may also have the opportunity to undertake some post-registration and/or postgraduate external examining related to their expertise, and by negotiation.
The University requires that External Examiners have qualifications at least equivalent to the Programme being examined, so the successful applicant will possess a Masters Degree and should be NMC registered. A teaching qualification recorded with the NMC or Fellow of Higher Education Academy is also required. We would welcome applications from both those with and those without previous external examining experience and would be delighted to offer support and guidance to any successful candidates who are new to external examining.
All appointments will be from 1st June 2025 and will be initially for a four-year period.
