The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Hull wishes to appoint an External Examiner for our MSc Health Research Programme and Associated Modules.
The duties of the position are as follows:
- Consideration and moderation of students’ assessments of theory and practical learning.
- Submission of an External Examiner’s Annual Report
- Membership and attendance at Boards of Examiners
- Collaboration with programme directors, module leaders and administrative colleagues to inform the continued monitoring, review and enhancement of these programmes.
Appointments are typically for a period of four years and the appointment is for the start of the 25/26 academic year. Applicants would preferably have relevant research experience and knowledge of post-graduate level programmes and Health Research as a subject area, however, other applicants may be considered. Appointment is subject to meeting the university’s criteria for the appointment of External Examiners.
