External Examiners wanted for MSc Social Work and Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work at the University of Bedfordshire
The School of Society, Community and Health is seeking two external examiners for their MSc Social Work and PgDip Social Work at the University of Bedfordshire.
The successful applicant will be a qualified social worker who is currently registered with Social Work England, with experience of working within the social work higher education sector.
External Examiner duties include:
- Assessment review and moderation
- Verifying standards of the assessment of programme learning outcomes are appropriate for the level of the award
- Attending Boards of Examiners meetings
- Monitoring the continued currency and validity of the programme as a whole
- Submitting an annual report using the University’s pro-forma once per academic year.
All tasks can be carried out virtually with no on-campus meetings required.
