External Examiner Midwifery

We are seeking to appoint an external examiner for the BSc (Hons) pre-registration Midwifery programme at York St John University. The post will be for 4 years commencing in the academic year 2025/26 and includes the need to attend assessment panels, review the cohorts’ academic work and prepare a annual written report to the university.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic staff who hold current NMC registration as midwives. Previous experience acting as an external examiner is desirable but not essential.

All appointments are subject to meeting the University’s criteria for the appointment of external examiners.
