UWE Bristol, School of Health and Social Wellbeing require a Field External Examiner in the Field of Mental Health Nursing. The post will be for 4 years commencing immediately.
Essential: Candidates must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
The portfolio will cover some of the following modules:
- Dual Diagnosis: Substance Misuse and Mental Health
- Medication Management in Mental Health Practice
- Mental Health and Well-being of Children and Young People
- Motivational Interviewing: Strategies for Lifestyle Changes
- Psycho-Social Interventions for Serious Mental Health Problems
- Solution Focused Practice – Developing Empowering Conversations with People
- Supporting and Managing those at Risk of Suicide
- Working With a Person Experiencing Mental Health Crisis
Please note, your final portfolio may require you to cover modules beyond this specific professional area. Some of the modules also include examining those delivered at our collaborative provision partners and therefore, familiarity with collaborative provision/partnerships is desirable.
