The School of Public and Allied Health at Liverpool John Moores University is looking to appoint an Academic as External Examiner for the following programmes:
- BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science
- BSc (Hons) Paramedicine
The BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science is a full-time programme giving applicants the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills and confidence required to become a registered professional.
The BSc (Hons) Paramedicine is a Top-Up degree for existing registered paramedics who wish to progress from Level 5 Foundation Degree or Higher Education Diploma to gain their level 6 credits.

The appointment will commence on the 1st September, 2026 and External Examiner appointments are typically for a period of 4 years and the appointment is for the start of the 2026 academic year. Please note we cannot accept applications if you have already been an External Examiner for our University in the last 5 years, or if one of our staff is already an Examiner in the same department at your home institution.
