Edinburgh Napier University is looking to appoint an External Examiner for the BSc Nursing Studies (Singapore) programme. This programme enables registered nurses working in Singapore to ‘top-up’ their nursing qualifications to degree level. Students complete 8 compulsory modules to gain their degree.
The successful applicant will be expected to cover 4 theory modules as specified:
- Learning, Teaching and Assessment in Practice
- Healthy Lives
- Leadership & Innovation: From Theory to Practice
- Exploring the theory & Application of Law & Ethical Reasoning in Nursing Practice
Previous experience is essential.
All applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
The appointment will commence in Sept 2025 and the tenure is for a period of four years. All External Examiner appointments are subject to approval by the University. External Examiners are expected to attend Board meetings and submit an annual report.
