We also look forward to our networking dinner with Professor Andy Long, Vice-Chancellor of Northumbria University. The event also marks the end of the Council’s Strategy 2025 and we will be outlining the Council’s future strategy for approval as part of the AGM.

Logistical information
This event is two days with all sessions taking place on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 June 2025. There will be a welcome informal buffet dinner for full board attendees on Tuesday 10 June evening. Food will be self-service and you are welcome to arrive and leave at any time.
The Crowne Plaza Newcastle is a five minute walk from Newcastle Central Station. The Crowne Plaza aims to provide good accessibility for all. For more information please refer to their accessibility guide.

The Council collaborates with education providers, charities, government organisations and arms-length bodies, healthcare providers, and professional bodies to enhance healthcare education and workforce development.
