The Three Counties School of Nursing and Midwifery is seeking an outstanding academic to join its Senior Leadership Team. The appointee will be appointed as a Principal Lecturer on a permanent basis with the title of Head of Department being conferred for three years in the first instance.
The Head of Department will play a pivotal role in leading one of the Departments of Nursing within the School and will support the strategic priorities in learning and teaching, student experience, recruitment, progression, retention and research. For this particular post, we are seeking a candidate with considerable apprenticeship experience.
The successful candidate will be a proven leader, with the ability to motivate and influence others through collaborative working practices. The post holder will have an established record of excellence in teaching, learning and research, with demonstrable experience in quality assurance.
