We would like to invite applicants for consideration in the post for Head of School Public Health, Midwifery and Social Work. This vacancy presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated person to lead and manage the School in delivering an exceptional student experience, deliver internationally excellent research and knowledge exchange and ensure an outstanding work environment for staff. The post holder will also be required to make a research and/or teaching contribution to one area of the School’s portfolio.

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced academic, with a relevant professional background. Essential experience within research and/or knowledge exchange in a relevant area and a full appreciation for the complexity and operations required in a contemporary health and care environment and Higher Education. The post holder will possess excellent leadership skills and abilities, reflecting the qualities set out in the University Leadership Framework.

Consideration given to conferring the title of Professor provided the applicant meets the University’s published criteria.
